A Message from Judge Dennise Garcia

Dear Dallas County Friends,

As I look toward to the campaign for election to a third term, I am reminded that one of the great privileges of my life is serving you as Judge of the 303rd District Court.

You elected me because you believed that the Dallas courts should be both qualified and diverse. I have been gratified by the support of the community at large, and the legal community specifically, during my tenure as judge.

As a judge, I strive to do certain things very well. First, I strive to be a hard-working judge, because I believe the people of Dallas are hard-working people. I also strive to be fair to all who come to my court, because I believe the law should apply equally to everyone. Finally, I strive to be available as much as possible, because I remember what it's like to be a hard-working family lawyer in Dallas County too.

I know, and have practiced, family law exclusively for more than fifteen years. You, the people of Dallas County, deserve a judge who knows and excels family law.

Each day I serve you is an honor and privilege, and I never take for granted that you put your trust in me through your vote.

I hope you will be active in my campaign, and I look forward to serving you for another four years.
